My (initialed) name is HBM. I work in IT, but in my free time I enjoy reading, writing, creating, tinkering, talking, and thinking. Beyond that, I like movies, music, cooking, learning (even more) about computers, working on my cars, and spending time with my dear wife.
NewSaint is a collection of projects created as part personal portfolio / part information repository. It mostly consists of essays, lists, thoughts, and other writings. Plus it looks nice on a business card.
The name NewSaint was chosen for a few reasons:
- Because it sounds cool
- Because I'm a Cosmotheist and my purpose is to help bring about a higher kind of man; a new people, with new saints
- Because it was available and affordable
This project began in 2022 as a Telegram micro-blog called Overall Enthusiasm, which was later rebranded to the current NewSaint Telegram Channel and acts as a companion to this site. NewSaint has grown and changed many times over the last few years.
Sometime in early 2023, I started NewSaint.org—a proper blog site—which I operated until mid-2025 when I decided to drop my old hosting service in favor of NeoCities. Most of the content from the old site was focused on the car projects I work on and the odd rant or essay about topics that interested me. All of those previous posts are available somewhere on this new site.
Please refer to the navigation bar at the top of the screen to see what sections of the site are currently available. Changes are being made site-wide somewhat frequently.
